Direct Support Professional - Independent Contractor (DT)
About The Position
InReach is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide companionship, care, and support to an adult female individual with developmental disabilities in the Charlotte area (28215). This role involves providing Respite Services for 18 hours per week. The DSP will offer instruction and assistance in home living environments, help the individual identify and acquire valued social roles, facilitate community integration, and assist in developing healthy social habits. Responsibilities also include dispensing medication and monitoring dosages, as well as transporting and accompanying the individual to various activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma (or GED)
- Valid driver's license
- Successfully pass a drug screen and background check
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of experience with the I/DD population
