Direct Support Professional HH-LM (60517)
About The Position
ARISE is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with a woman 45 years old in the Syracuse, NY area. We are looking for a dedicated individual who is open-minded, energetic, respectful, and dedicated staff to engage in activities with her in the community. The DSP will assist her in navigating around the community; DSP will encourage her to try new hobbies/activities. Hours are 3pm-7pm, Monday-Friday (days may vary). Looking for roughly 15 hours per week. Respite services at $19 per hour. We are seeking individuals who are reliable, patient, enthusiastic, and able to work independently.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Effective communication and organizational skills required.
- Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
- Reliable transportation to arrive at the job site at the scheduled time.
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
- Reliable transportation is required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities will be a plus.
- Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
