About The Position
Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) make a real difference by helping individuals with Autism and Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities build independence, confidence, and meaningful lives within their communities. Focus Behavioral Health is seeking caring, dependable, and compassionate individuals to join their team. No experience is required.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Must pass criminal background clearances
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented mindset
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required
- Experience in Human Services or as a caregiver is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Meet individual in Pittsburgh to start session, end in Mt Pleasant
- Support individuals with daily living activities such as meal preparation, errands, household tasks, hygiene, and personal care as needed.
- Encourage independence and community involvement.
- Build positive, supportive relationships.
- Help create fun, safe, and engaging experiences.
