About The Position
ARISE is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with a 49-year-old man in the Liverpool, NY area. The role involves engaging the individual in community activities, assisting with social skills and independent living skills, and encouraging him to try new things. The DSP will provide assistance while out in the community. This is a Per Diem position with Com Hab services.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Effective communication and organizational skills required.
- Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
- Reliable transportation to arrive at the job site at the scheduled time.
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
- Background check, fingerprinting, and DMV record check will be completed prior to hire.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
Responsibilities
