About The Position
Indera is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with a 44-year-old woman in the Ithaca, NY area. The role involves engaging the individual in community activities, assisting with social skills development, supporting independent living skills, and encouraging her to try new things. The DSP will also help her navigate the community. This is a per diem position with varying hours and days, approximately 30 hours per week, offering Com Hab services at $32 per hour.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Effective communication and organizational skills required.
- Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
- Reliable transportation to arrive at the job site at the scheduled time.
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
