About The Position
Indera formerly known as ARISE is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with a young lady 18yrs old in the Syracuse, NY area. We are looking for a dedicated individual who is open-minded, energetic, respectful and dedicated staff to engage in activities with him in the community. The DSP will assist her in navigating around the community; DSP will assist with independent living skills. DSP will encourage her to try new hobbies/activities. DSP will help Increase Physical Fitness. Hours- days and hours may vary Looking for roughly 30 hours per week Com Hab services at $23 per hour We are seeking individuals who are reliable, patient, enthusiastic, and able to work independently. Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities will be a plus. Reliable transportation is required. A background check, fingerprinting, and DMV record check will be completed prior to hire through the non‑profit agency. Indera is an Equal Opportunity Employer
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Effective communication and organizational skills required.
- Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
- Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
