About The Position

Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) are hired to work in Group Homes, where 6–8 individuals live together in a safe, supportive environment. As a DSP, you’ll help people build independence, navigate daily life, follow individualized service plans, and create a home where everyone feels valued and respected. Requirements

  • Knowledge and skill equivalent to the completion of a high school diploma
  • Knowledge and skills necessary to perform ordinary household functions
  • Good observation skills and ability to relate observations accurately, both verbally and in writing
  • Knowledge and skills necessary to perform basic computer operations
  • Meet and maintain required certifications to become a medication technician
  • Meet and maintain CPR, First Aid and DD certifications

  • Work experience in the field of developmental disabilities
