About The Position

Residential Worker Overnight, play a key role in ensuring the well-being and health of people living in supported homes. This position works as an integral part of the team to ensure people are well supported overnight and the home is maintained while updating documentation such as support plans.

Requirements

  • Graduation from a Community College with an appropriate diploma or certificate in Human Services OR an equivalent of education and experience.
  • Current First Aid & CPR and NCI Training (employer will provide), TB screening,
  • valid unrestricted BC Class 5 Drivers License is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Overnight support to people in a shared-living home
  • Follow support plan in interactions with people living in the home
  • Updating support plans and providing some data entry
  • Cooking and cleaning to ensure a healthy environment
  • Providing individuals with the opportunity to make meaningful choices
  • Encouraging and recognizing individuals' contributions
  • Ensuring that individuals are safe and to promote their health and well-being
  • assist individuals to gain knowledge and experiences to enhance their independence and/or ability to participate in their community.
