About The Position

AHRC New York City is holding a virtual hiring event for Direct Support Professional (DSP) positions for their Queens ICF Residence. This role involves supporting neurodivergent children and adults with a broad spectrum of services. Requirements

• Must be willing to work weekends.
• Valid NY or Tri-State drivers license for more than one year, in good standing (required for 40hr Day & Evening Shift positions).
• Professionalism, integrity, excellent communication skills, and patience.

Nice To Haves

• Personal or Professional experience supporting People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support neurodivergent children and adults with a broad spectrum of services.
• Work various shifts including day, evening, and overnight.
• Provide support on weekends for most positions.
• Maintain professionalism, integrity, and excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrate patience in all interactions.
