About The Position

AHRC New York City is a large, complex nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting neurodivergent children and adults (those with autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and other disabilities) through a broad spectrum of services. We are holding a HIRING EVENT for Direct Support Professional (DSP) positions for their QUEENS ICF Residence. This is a virtual hiring event on Thursday, October 22nd from 10 AM to 1 PM. The pay rate is $20.60-$20.96 per hour depending on the shift. All positions include a full benefit package, including FREE Medical insurance.

Requirements

• Must be willing to work weekends.
• Valid NY or Tri-State drivers license for more than one year, in good standing (required for 40hr Day & Evening Shift positions).
• Professionalism, integrity, excellent communication skills.
• Patience is a MUST!

Nice To Haves

• Personal or Professional experience supporting People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support neurodivergent children and adults with a broad spectrum of services.
• Work day and evening shifts (7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm) for 40hr positions.
• Work weeknight overnight shifts (11pm-9am) for 40hr positions.
• Work weekend overnight shifts (11pm-9am) for 30hr positions.
• Provide weekend availability for most positions.
