About The Position

We are seeking a Part Time Personal Supports (DSP) to provide hands-on care to individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities providing assistance with personal hygiene, activities/ outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning. Support a young woman in the Bel Air area with activities at home and in the community and home. Work on skills to increase independence at home and in the community. Activities include bowling, walking/hiking at parks, going to the library, working on cooking skills, eating out, and playing some card games. Staff should be patient, respectful, trustworthy, and able to encourage and participate in living a fun and fulfilling life. This position is: 15 hours/ week M/W 4p-8p, and Sunday 9a-4p The schedule is subject to flexibility due to the needs of the individuals supported.

Requirements

High school degree/GED
Current driver’s license with less than three points on the driving record.
