Requirements

Must be 18 years or older
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Must have adequate automobile insurance
Must meet agency insurability requirements
Ability to learn basic principles of teaching (instruction provided)
Good basic mathematical computation skills
Good English Language writing knowledge
Ability to walk, bend, stoop or stand for extended periods
Ability to assist in lifting or transferring individuals to and from wheelchairs
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, gowns, face shields, shoes, ear plugs, etc.
Ability to follow all required safe and universal precaution practices during a pandemic and as required otherwise
Must know first aid, health & safety measures or build an acceptable competence level by post-hire training.

Maintaining timely and accurate records for billing, notes and other documentation.
Providing direct support, instruction, and assistance to persons with disabilities (I/DD) living in the community.
Ensuring health and safety, community inclusion, and daily living skills.
