About The Position
We are currently seeking a team member to fill our Full-Time Direct Support Professional - position in our Day Support Program. This role involves assisting people with disabilities to be independent in their activities of daily living, attending staff meetings, and effectively communicating with team members. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and be self-directed.
Requirements
- Must be able to drive (19 years old, valid driver's license, have an insured vehicle, driven 2+ years)
- Motivated to teach
- Be dependable
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Have a positive attitude and be self-directed
Nice To Haves
- Comfortable assisting with personal care needs
- Comfortable with possible behaviors (therapeutic intervention training provided)
- Enjoy participating in community activities
