DSP Floaters may choose to work one of the following schedules (hours are guaranteed, work location will vary): Sun-Tue 8:00a-8:00p (36 hours) Thu-Sat 8:00a-8:00p (36 hours) Sun-Thu 2:30p-10:30p (40 hours) Tue-Sat 2:30p-10:30p (40 hours) Sun 10:30a-10:30p, Mon-Wed 2:30p-10:30p (36 hours) Wed-Fri 2:30p-10:30p, Sat 10:30a-10:30p (36 hours) A Direct Support Professional (Also known as DSP, Residential Assistant, Caregiver, Home Health Aide, CNA) is responsible for: Light housework: cooking, meal prep, cleaning Maintenance of personal care/hygiene routines: feeding, medication administration, bathing, showering, toileting Providing transportation to and from doctor’s appointments, outside activities and excursions Behavioral and social support (to include working with potential physical and verbal outbursts/ aggressiveness) Accurate completion of daily service notes, daily attendance, and other required documentation
