About The Position

TURN Community Services is looking to hire full-time Day Program Art Center Direct Support Professionals in Utah County. This caregiving position earns a competitive wage of $16.50/hour. We provide amazing benefits, including a $600 sign-on bonus paid out over six months, an employee assistance program (EAP), and 21 hours of paid time off (PTO). Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Experience in any field of art
• A heart for serving people with developmental disabilities
• Driver's license and clean driving record required
• Must be able to drive large vehicle to transport individuals for community engagement and to/from home.
• Must be able to pass a background check upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Support people with developmental disabilities to live their best lives as independently as possible.
• Teach clients to experience all types of art forms like dance, music, singing, theatre, painting, sculpting, etc.
• Assist with behavior management and daily living activities.
• Provide support for clients with their day-to-day schedules using effective teaching and mentoring techniques.
• Model appropriate social skills and behaviors.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date documentation.
• Promptly report any concerns about health or safety.
