About The Position

This role involves conducting residential exterior property inspections to identify storm-related damage, accurately documenting findings with photos and measurements, and utilizing technology platforms for real-time reporting. The inspector serves as the primary in-person representative of Premier Roofing, educating homeowners on the insurance restoration process, setting clear expectations, and resolving concerns. The position also requires coordination with internal teams, ensuring timely completion of inspections and adherence to SLAs. During periods of low assignment volume, the inspector will support production by conducting pre-build site reviews, assisting with material deliveries, performing quality assurance visits, completing final walkthroughs, and aiding in issue resolution and project closeout. Collaboration with various internal departments and participation in continuous improvement initiatives are key. The role requires over 50% overnight travel, with the possibility of short notice and extended out-of-state assignments during high claim volume periods.

Responsibilities

Conduct residential exterior property inspections following company standards.
Identify storm-related damage and accurately document findings.
Capture detailed photos, measurements, and inspection documentation.
Utilize technology platforms to complete inspection reports in real time.
Ensure inspection quality meets carrier and internal expectations.
Serve as the primary in-person representative of Premier Roofing.
Educate homeowners on the insurance restoration process.
Set clear expectations regarding project timelines and next steps.
Build trust through professionalism, communication, and reliability.
Resolve customer concerns promptly while partnering with internal teams.
Coordinate effectively with centralized sales, estimating, and operations teams.
Ensure timely completion of assigned inspections and field activities.
Maintain SLA adherence for inspections, documentation, and customer follow-up.
Communicate field observations that may impact claim progression or production.
Conduct pre-build site reviews and verify project readiness.
Support material deliveries and job start coordination when needed.
Perform quality assurance visits during active construction.
Complete final walkthroughs and verify customer satisfaction.
Assist production with issue resolution and operational requests throughout the project lifecycle.
Support punch list completion and project closeout activities.
Work closely with Production Managers, Project Coordinators, Claims, and Inside Sales.
Share field feedback to improve operational processes.
Participate in training, coaching, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain a positive, team-first attitude while adapting to changing business needs.
