About The Position
Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Alternative Services, Inc. (ASI) improve lives by supporting adults with disabilities in a small group home setting (Adult Foster Care home). ASI has been a leader in the industry for over 47 years, serving adults with disabilities. Our dedicated staff provides 24-hour care, 365 days a year. We are looking for kind, compassionate, and genuine people to join our team. Full-time and part-time positions are available on the 1st shift (7 am to 3 pm) and 2nd shift (3-11 pm) in Romulus and Belleville, MI. Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Possess a valid Michigan Driver's license.
- Excellent moral character.

Responsibilities
- Assisting in a variety of daily living activities, including personal care (hygiene, basic health, and administering medication), cleaning, cooking, and shopping.
- Serving as an advocate and role model in all interactions with persons served.
- Supporting persons served as they participate in leisure activities (at-home and in the community).
- Respecting the rights, dignity, property, and privacy of persons served.
