About The Position
Join our team as a Direct Care Supervisor, where you'll guide and support caregivers, ensuring our residents receive the compassionate care they deserve. In this role, you’ll be a key resource for your team, providing mentorship, problem-solving, and fostering a positive, team-oriented environment.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is a must.
- Training as a Medical Assistant, or Certified Nurse Aide (CNA).
- Experience in medical assisting, EMS, or caregiving.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medications, and body structure.
- CPR certified (or obtained within 90 days).
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Leadership or supervisory experience.
- Hands-on experience with injections and wound care.
Responsibilities
- Supervise caregivers in performing daily living activities based on individualized service plans (ISPs).
- Ensure proper staffing levels and collaborate with providers.
- Process medication orders and oversee resident assessments during intake and admission.
- Provide hands-on training, feedback, and guidance to caregivers, helping them grow and excel.
- Review incident reports and ensure policies and procedures are followed.
- Assist with personal care (ADLS) like bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Help residents enjoy their meals and stay hydrated for good health.
- Report any changes in conditions to the leadership team ASAP.
- Maintain confidentiality while delivering top-notch care.
