Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene and getting dressed.
• Help with bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
• Support clients who need help with cooking, cleaning, and daily tasks.
• Use Hoyer lifts and assist with colostomy care when needed.
• Give medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe, clean home.
• Shop for groceries and household supplies.
• Run errands and assist with transportation-related needs.
• Prepare meals with the client.
• Offer companionship, encouragement, and emotional support.
• Report unusual incidents.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
