About The Position

As a Direct Care Supervisor, you'll guide and support caregivers, ensuring our residents receive the compassionate care they deserve. In this role, you’ll be a key resource for your team, providing mentorship, problem-solving, and fostering a positive, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of Medical Terminology, Medications, Pharmacology, and Body Structure and Function
Education consistent with that of a Medical Assistant or Certified Nurse Aide
CPR certification attained within 90 days of hire.
Position requires the ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 35 pounds without assistance

Nice To Haves

Previous supervisory or lead experience
Previous hands-on experience and training on injections and wound care, and the ability to successfully pass a competency evaluation by an RN
Experience consistent with that of a Medical Assistant/Technician, EMS, or caregiving

Responsibilities

Supervise caregivers in performing daily living activities based on individualized service plans (ISPs).
Ensure proper staffing levels and collaborate with providers.
Process medication orders and oversee resident assessments during intake and admission.
Provide hands-on training, feedback, and guidance to caregivers, helping them grow and excel.
Review incident reports and ensure policies and procedures are followed.
Assist with personal care (ADLS) like bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
Help residents enjoy their meals and stay hydrated for good health.
Report any changes in conditions to the leadership team ASAP.
Maintain confidentiality while delivering top-notch care.
