PT Direct Care is hiring a Part-Time Direct Care Associate for an every-other-weekend schedule (Saturday and Sunday shifts). This is a hands-on role supporting women and families in a residential treatment setting focused on recovery from substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges. In this position, you will be an essential part of the residential care team, helping maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment. You will work closely with the Program Manager and other staff to provide day-to-day supervision, encouragement, and practical support to clients as they progress through treatment and stabilization. Your work will directly contribute to helping clients build routines, strengthen recovery skills, and maintain a healthy living environment for themselves and their children. The Southeastern Family Project (SEFP) is part of the Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board network of services, providing licensed residential treatment for substance use disorders (ASAM levels 3.5 and 3.1). The program serves non-pregnant women, pregnant women, postpartum women, and infants in a structured, gender-responsive setting. SEFP focuses on creating a stable therapeutic environment that promotes recovery, parenting support, and overall wellness for families working toward long-term stability.
