About The Position

Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer, the Market Director of Rehab Services plans, organizes, directs, and supervises therapy service programs throughout Rehab Services at Texoma Medical Center (TMC), TMC Bonham Hospital, Reba McEntire Center for Rehabilitation, and all Rehab Outpatient Services. in accordance with department and administrative policies. Ensures service excellence development, personnel management, and resource allocation and control. Assumes direction of participation in special projects as needed. Coordinates hospital-wide compliance with state and federal regulations. Performs front line patient care. Understands all service lines provided by rehabilitation services, the department(s) and facility.

Requirements

• Master's degree in related field of rehabilitation therapy.
• Ten (10) years working experience required.
• Three to five (3-5) years in a supervisory role within the disciplines of the department(s) required.
• Current and active license in at least one of the following: Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Therapy.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines and all required Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Healthcare Provider courses will be provided during new hire orientation or upon transfer, and must be completed prior to working in a clinical setting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills.
• Must possess critical thinking skills and sound decision making and problem solving abilities.
• Must be service excellence focused (strong customer service and team building skills).
• Ability to communicate clearly defined expectations.
• Excellent computer skills in a variety of healthcare related computer programs as well as MS Office.
• Excellent conflict resolutions skills.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.

Nice To Haves

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or advanced Health Care Management preferred.
