The Dining Site Coordinator organizes and supervises nutrition program meal sites, including organizing, recruiting, and training volunteers. This role also oversees home-delivered meal services, ensures proper food storage temperatures, serves food according to program policies, and supervises clean-up activities. The coordinator is responsible for maintaining adequate program supplies, calling in daily reservations, reporting participant absences, preparing records, and maintaining good public relations with the community, agencies, and senior consumers. This position serves as a liaison between the agency and nutrition program participants and may provide coverage at other county nutrition sites as needed. Regular attendance and punctuality are required, and the employee will perform related duties as assigned.
