As a key player on our dining services team, you will assist in managing and executing all dining service activities, ensuring an exceptional experience for our residents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Proficiency in Point-of-Sale Systems.
  • Regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; talk or hear; and taste or smell.
  • Frequently required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; push and pull.
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Plans and implements front of the house dining standards, procedures and service.
  • Inputs charges for meals, special functions and other related charges.
  • Assists in monthly in-services.
  • Coordinates scheduling of waitstaff and hosts/hostess.
  • Ensures dining functions and events are implemented according to service standards.
  • Performs the necessary duties for emergency drills and situations such as fire, fire alarms, hurricanes, and other possible emergencies as outlined in the Disaster Response Playbook.
  • Ensures departmental compliance with corporate, state, and federal safety guidelines.
  • Directly supervises employees in the Dining Room. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
