About The Position

As a key player on our dining services team, you will assist in managing and executing all dining service activities, ensuring an exceptional experience for our residents.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Proficiency in Point-of-Sale Systems.

Responsibilities

Plans and implements front of the house dining standards, procedures and service.
Inputs charges for meals, special functions and other related charges.
Assists in monthly in-services.
Coordinates scheduling of waitstaff and hosts/hostess.
Ensures dining functions and events are implemented according to service standards.
Performs the necessary duties for emergency drills and situations such as fire, fire alarms, hurricanes, and other possible emergencies as outlined in the Disaster Response Playbook.
Ensures departmental compliance with corporate, state, and federal safety guidelines.
Directly supervises employees in the Dining Room.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
