About The Position

The Dining Services Associate helps provide residents with friendly service, quality meals, and a clean, welcoming dining environment. The role supports residents’ health, comfort, and overall dining experience and is suited to a dependable, service-minded person who enjoys active, team-based work. Full-time opportunities are available, with open availability preferred. Shift options are 6 a.m.–2 p.m. and 12 p.m.–8 p.m.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age.
Employment certificate or work permit required when applicable.
Prior customer-service experience.
Current ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain certification.
Physical stamina to remain active throughout the shift.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at an intermediate or more advanced level to support safe, effective communication with residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous food-service, hospitality, restaurant, serving, or dining experience.
Positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine commitment to creating a welcoming dining experience for residents.

Responsibilities

Prepare food and beverages according to established menus, recipes, and residents’ dietary needs.
Set up dining areas and assist with accurate, timely meal service.
Provide attentive, respectful service to create a positive dining experience.
Clean and sanitize dishes, kitchen equipment, food-preparation areas, and dining spaces.
Follow food-safety, sanitation, infection-control, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Restock supplies and help keep the kitchen organized and ready for service.
Work collaboratively with cooks, supervisors, and other team members to keep meal service running smoothly.
Respond to residents’ needs with patience, professionalism, and care.
