About The Position

For nearly 70 years, Stella Maris has been a leading nursing home, providing Baltimore-area residents with a comprehensive range of health and residential services. We are currently recruiting for Dining Services Assistants (DSA) to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to join our mission driven organization to provide excellent care to our residents. The Dining Services Assistant facilitates the service of meals and ensures excellent customer service to our residents.

Requirements

• Literacy and communication skills in English required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lb. and push cart weighing 300 lb.
• Pleasant disposition and ability to work efficiently under pressure required.
• Excellent Customer Service Skills.
• Must be able to work as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Cashier Experience Preferred

Responsibilities

• Familiar with cash handling procedures for register system
• Experience high volume retail setting
• Must be able to work in multiple area in café
• Flexible Schedule
• Food Handling experience is a plus
