Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalency degree
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English
  • Must be able to exert well-paced mobility for up to four hours
  • Must have the ability to lift equipment and supplies up to 40 lbs. in weight
  • Must be able to walk, bend, stoop and use finger dexterity for periods up to four hours at a time
  • Must be able to stand for up to four hours at a time
  • Must be able to listen attentively and comprehend verbal instructions in English
  • Must be able to visually differentiate colors for the purposes of food safety
  • Must be able to work when exposed to wet floors, temperature extremes and loud noise
  • Must be able to work independently with the appropriate amount of supervision
  • At least 3 months of successful food service preparation experience
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

  • Six months in a previous food service preparation position

Responsibilities

  • Food preparation/service and sanitation.
  • Filling steam tables.
  • Retrieving food and supplies from the kitchen, coolers, warmers and dry stock areas to set up and maintain service lines.
  • Use of knives and commercial kitchen equipment (steamers, fryers, pizza ovens, turbo chefs, etc.).
  • Provide customer service by tending food stations (providing proper serving sizes and keeping station well stocked with menu items and dry goods).
  • Proper cleaning and storage of dishes, trays, eating utensils, cups, pots and pans.
  • Gathering dirty dishes from dining platforms and trayveyor.
  • Dishwashing in a three compartment sink or commercial dish machine.
  • Refilling the dish machine with appropriate chemicals as needed.
  • Reshelving dishes to appropriate areas.
  • Follow all proper safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
  • Reading and accurately processing tickets from the GET ordering system (reading order ticket, gathering/preparing items for the order, taking order to appropriate pick-up area).
