About The Position

Allegro Hyde Park is seeking a warm, dependable Part-Time Dining Server to join their evening dining team. The role focuses on making mealtime a positive experience for residents by serving meals with warmth, care, and professionalism, building genuine relationships, and maintaining a clean dining environment. The position offers meaningful work with no late nights, as shifts end by 8:00 PM.

Requirements

Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
Must pay attention to detail, be flexible/adaptable, have safety awareness, and be a team player.
Must have positive Criminal Background Screening.
Adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.
Weekend availability required.
No prior experience required — we'll train the right person!

Responsibilities

Serve evening meals with warmth, care, and professionalism to residents.
Build genuine relationships that make residents feel seen, valued, and at home.
Maintain a clean, welcoming dining environment throughout every shift.
Respond to resident needs with patience, kindness, and professionalism.
Be a dependable, friendly presence that makes every dinner feel special.
Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely and professional manner.
Approach and interact with residents and guests in a friendly, service-oriented, and professional manner.
Serve food in an efficient and professional manner.
Clear tables of glasses, silverware, dishes, etc. when residents and guests have finished a course or their meal according to Company protocol.
Maintain a clean dining room. Chairs, windows, floors, and all work areas should be wiped down and sanitized after every meal period.
Deliver and retrieve trays to and from residents’ apartments as needed.
Label and date all food.
Other job duties as assigned.
