Dining Server Associate, morning shift
About The Position
The Dining Server Associate works in the Health Center at Porter Hills Village, supporting residents in the skilled nursing area. The role involves more than serving food: it helps enrich residents’ daily lives and contributes to their comfort and well-being. Using a ticket system to ensure accuracy, the associate prepares beverages, serves meals, engages with residents, and maintains a clean, welcoming dining environment. This is a part-time position for 29 hours per week. The schedule varies Monday through Friday and includes every other weekend. Shifts are 6:30 a.m.–11:00 a.m. or 6:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. The position is located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in the Dining Services Department.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities
- Watch tickets and run a tray line.
- Serve meals to residents and guests with a friendly demeanor.
- Take orders and ensure their accuracy.
