Job Description The Dining Room Supervisor is tasked with hiring and training of servers, ensuring adequate coverage for all scheduled shifts, the supervisor is responsible for the flow of service from the kitchen, to food deliveries, and To Gos. Ensures all residents receive their preferences in both food and beverages. Must have a high regard for being professional, maintain a positive temperament, and knowledge of basic food offerings and menu content. Must keep the dining room properly cleaned per the health department standards.

Requirements

Valid Food Handlers Permit
Ability to work in a team environment
Must work various shifts
Communicate effectively in English to receive food or drink orders and give responses.
Must enjoy working with the elderly
Able to accept constructive criticism.
Proven ability to understand and demonstrate responsible behavior.

Responsibilities

Hosts the front of the house and seats residents according to the floor plan.
Takes resident(s) meal orders and serves meals orders efficiently using exceptional customer service techniques.
Completes various tasks designed to ensure the dining room and kitchen areas are fully stocked and prepared to serve Residents.
Assists with set up and cleaning of kitchen and dining room before and after each meal.
Delivers room service in a timely manner.
May perform all kitchen helper and dishwasher duties as needed.
Clearly communicates assignments, such as side work, cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and ensuring the morning set-up is done before the end of night shifts.
Demonstrates ability to read, write, and speak English sufficient to fulfill job requirements.
