About The Position

The Dining Room Attendant serves guests in the dining room and helps provide a positive experience that encourages them to return. The role includes setting up and maintaining restaurant stations, delivering food and beverages accurately and promptly, running food throughout the restaurant and bar, and completing assigned side work and other duties. The attendant is expected to follow attendance, punctuality, uniform, bussing, and food-handling standards and to maintain an immaculate station.

Requirements

• Must be able to work weekends.
• Must have Food Handlers certification.
• Must have TABC certification.

Nice To Haves

• Fine dining or steakhouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve guests in the dining room and help provide the best possible experience.
• Meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Comply with uniform standards.
• Set up the entire restaurant properly.
• Understand and follow bussing standards.
• Understand the menu.
• Deliver food and beverages accurately and promptly to tables.
• Be friendly and helpful to guests, using surnames whenever possible.
• Comply with food-handling standards.
• Run food to all sections of the restaurant and bar.
• Complete all assigned duties before checking out and clocking out.
• Inspect and maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the assigned restaurant station.
• Complete station setup, breakdown, and side work.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.
