About The Position

At Main Event, Dining Hosts guide Guests through their dining experience and support the overall experience of the dining room and bar area. The role involves greeting and seating guests, communicating with servers, server assistants, and managers, and maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation. Dining Hosts may perform opening, mid-day, or closing duties and work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Food Handlers Certification, as required.

• Ability to communicate effectively with management, team members, and guests.
• Attention to detail and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work days, nights, and/or weekends.

• Prior food and beverage experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
• Welcome and greet dining guests while gathering details about their visit.
• Manage tables and keep the waitlist updated.
• Seat guests or hand them off to another host.
• Communicate with servers and guests, including through table touches, to support a seamless experience.
• Thank guests for coming and welcome them back.
• Perform opening, mid-day, or closing duties.
