About The Position
The Dining Attendant position involves delivering friendly and efficient service in various roles such as server, buffet attendant, or dishwashing. This role also includes serving residents in Health Services, ensuring adherence to dietary requirements and therapeutic needs. The attendant will maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and compliance with food safety guidelines (HACCP, NYS DOH), and cultivate a positive dining experience through attentive, courteous service. Operating a cash register may also be required.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
- Friendly, courteous, and helpful attitude; clean and neat appearance
- Stand and walk most of the shift
- Lift up to 40 lbs
Responsibilities
