The Dimensional Inspector performs advanced dimensional and visual inspections to verify that manufactured, repaired, refurbished, and received components meet applicable drawings, specifications, customer requirements, work instructions, and acceptance criteria. It supports nonconformance reporting, corrective-work verification, First Article Inspection, product acceptance and release, customer or third-party inspections, and dimensional evaluations with Quality and Engineering. The inspector also maintains inspection equipment and records, communicates quality concerns, and helps train and mentor other inspectors as requested. The position reports to the Quality Manager and works with other inspectors. Normal working hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday; extended hours may be required for specific project needs. Travel of up to 15% is required. Work takes place at an established industrial site, potentially around industrial hazards, high noise levels, and new construction. Protective clothing and equipment are required and will be paid for by NAES. Employees participate in the Fitness for Duty Program, including a post-offer physical examination and drug screening and post-employment random drug screening.
