Onsite Job: Dimension Control Technician 2
About The Position
Indotronix is seeking a Dimension Control Technician 2 in El Segundo, California. This role operates on a 9x80 A work schedule and requires the ability to work any shift. The technician will be responsible for fabricating and assembling jigs, fixtures, gauges, and tooling with tight tolerances, planning work methods and sequences from design drawings or own layouts, and setting up and using optical/measurement instruments for alignment and verification. The role also involves developing tooling concepts, holding devices, and shop drawings, supporting fabrication processes, monitoring quality standards, and troubleshooting and repairing tooling and equipment as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- 2+ years of experience in tool building, machining, laser tracking, welding, or repair
- Experience with 3D CAD tools (Siemens NX, CATIA, or similar)
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work in shop/warehouse environments
- Experience with fabrication tools and machines (saws, drills, mills, lathes)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance
- Must have the ability & flexibility to work any shift
Nice To Haves
- Experience with troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment
- Knowledge of maintenance systems (e.g., Maximo, E-Maint)
- Experience with conventional machining (mill/lathe)
- Forklift and overhead crane experience
- Associate degree or experience in aircraft manufacturing
- Knowledge of metrology and laser tracking systems
Responsibilities
