About The Position

The Digital Workplace Manager is responsible for the day‑to‑day administration, governance execution, and operational support of the organization’s Microsoft 365 environment, with primary ownership of SharePoint Online configuration and governance. This role focuses on implementing established standards, supporting business users, maintaining platform health, and ensuring SharePoint content, permissions, and structures are well managed to enable secure collaboration and effective Microsoft 365 Copilot usage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field
  • Microsoft 365 or SharePoint certifications
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with a pragmatic mindset for innovation
  • Hands‑on experience administering Microsoft 365 in an enterprise environment
  • Experience managing SharePoint Online, including sites, permissions, and information architecture
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 collaboration and sharing models
  • Experience with content lifecycle management and governance controls
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot concepts and data access considerations
  • Experience using Microsoft Purview for sensitivity labels and retention
  • Ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams without direct authority
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
  • Organized, detail‑oriented, and delivery‑focused
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English

Responsibilities

  • Manage Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and OneNote
  • Manage tenant configurations, licensing assignments, and service settings in collaboration with Infrastructure Team
  • Monitor service health, storage usage, and usage trends
  • Support business units with workspace creation, site setup, and collaboration best practices
  • Manage external partners
  • Implement and enforce established SharePoint governance standards
  • Manage permissions, sharing settings, and access controls to reduce oversharing
  • Administer and support approved third party SharePoint tools (e.g., CB Replicator)
  • Ensure SharePoint governance, metadata, and permissions directly support accurate and secure Copilot responses
  • Lead SharePoint centric governance initiatives aligned with organizational and regulatory requirements
  • Implement data protection controls using Microsoft Purview (sensitivity labels, retention, DLP)
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and Copilot related issues
  • Work closely with Teams, OneDrive, Identity, Security, and Compliance administrators
