About The Position

We are looking for a motivated Digital Workplace Engineer to join our internal IT team. This role is responsible for maintaining and developing our system landscape, driving the digitalization of our own work environment, and finding innovative solutions for our daily work in close collaboration with the IT Manager and various departments. This position offers a high degree of personal responsibility and creative freedom.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed training in the IT field (e.g., IT specialist for system integration) or comparable technical qualification/professional experience.
  • Secure, practical experience in the administration of cloud environments (preferably Google Workspace and M365) and in Identity & Access Management.
  • Good knowledge in client support and device management (MDM) for Windows, macOS, and/or ChromeOS.
  • Strong hands-on mentality, high technical problem-solving skills, and strong service orientation.
  • Basic technical understanding of IT security standards and best practices.
  • Team player qualities, initiative, and enjoyment of an agile work environment.
  • Good German and English skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Operative administration, configuration, and maintenance of our cloud services (especially Google Workspace, M365) and various SaaS applications.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact (1st & 2nd Level) for colleagues regarding all IT technical questions (hardware, software, network, accounts).
  • Management and provisioning of our end devices (Windows, macOS, ChromeOS) using modern Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
  • Technological implementation of internal IT projects in close cooperation with the IT Manager (e.g., introduction of new tools or automation of workflows).
  • Active implementation and monitoring of IT security measures and data protection regulations (e.g., endpoint security, access management) in daily operations.
  • Smooth execution of technical onboarding and offboarding of employees.
