About The Position

Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) is a global leader in aerospace innovation, headquartered in Longueuil, Quebec. We design and manufacture next-generation aircraft engines. The Operations Partnership team is a new international team focused on operational performance and supporting key partners worldwide. The Partnership Industrialization team is looking for an intern to support digital initiatives and business intelligence activities across the organization. The intern will participate in improving digital workflows and automation processes, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to understand data and reporting needs, and contribute to system testing, documentation, troubleshooting, and the creation of guides and manuals as needed. The role will also involve designing and maintaining digital dashboards (Power BI), automating recurring reports and KPI tracking, and collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data from multiple sources (including Power BI, Webcon, and other integrated systems). The intern will also contribute to defining and documenting KPIs aligned with business objectives, ensuring data quality, integrity, and consistency across all reports. This opportunity is for a student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field, with basic knowledge of data visualization tools, SQL, Excel, and system integration, as well as an interest in using AI to improve report automation, and demonstrating strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Requirements

  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of: Data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar) / SQL and database concepts / Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros) /Integration between systems and API concept.
  • Understanding of KPIs, reporting frameworks, and data structures.
  • Programming knowledge.
  • Interested on AI as part of solution to automated reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experience with dashboard automation.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communicator.
  • The selected candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check and any applicable clearances with respect to the handling and transfer of controlled goods.
