Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience combining some form of strategic thinking / consultancy with ‘real world’ experience implementing plans and recommendations.
  • The ability to define a new digital strategy that achieves a given set of goals.
  • Proven track record of delivering solutions for consumer-facing digital experiences, such as apps, websites and push notifications related products.
  • Deep understanding and experience optimizing B2C funnels and engagement metrics (from awareness to monetization).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple B2B and B2B2C clients and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decision-making.
  • Technical experience and ability to effectively articulate product functionalities to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Willingness to frequently travel domestically and abroad.

Nice To Haves

  • Doing so within a sports organization / broadcaster is preferred.
  • Experience working inside, or at least with, sports organizations
  • Experience owning or marketing an OTT product, and the revenue and/or fan data opportunity this offers.
  • Understanding of how sports rights holders drive revenue from digital (direct and indirect)
  • Experience delivering commercial value from some combination of ad technology, digital sponsorship, product (OTT, ticketing, merchandising) sale.
  • Experience in working with sports organizations
  • Experience working in a sports media / agency

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with clients to understand their strategy and objectives.
  • Be the “why” in every conversation: ensure every decision will generate value
  • Work closely with clients during onboarding to ensure that WSC is used strategically and effectively
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, providing strategic guidance to maximize WSC Sports value.
  • Maintain knowledge of fan engagement trends, benchmarks and developments.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for revenue growth and product expansion.
  • Invoke creative solutions to improve client performance and revenue generation.
  • Use data to quantify the impact of our solutions, internally and externally.
  • Contribute to business reviews to guide clients and demonstrate ROI and impact
  • Work with internal stakeholders across product, business development, account management and R&D departments to enhance the value of our fan facing solutions.
