About The Position

Ripple Effect Strategies is seeking a full-time Digital Strategist to join our team in a fully remote capacity. In this role you will, develop, execute, and optimize SMS and MMS campaigns for political and nonprofit clients.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in digital marketing, digital fundraising, political campaigns, or a related field.
• Strong writing skills, with the ability to craft concise, persuasive SMS or email copy.
• Experience with A/B testing and using performance data to optimize campaigns.
• Familiarity with texting platforms (e.g., Switchboard) and digital marketing tools.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Political Science, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

• Write clear, compelling SMS and MMS copy aligned with each client’s voice and objectives.
• Build, launch, and manage text messaging campaigns.
• Conduct A/B testing to optimize messaging performance.
• Monitor daily campaign performance and adjust strategies based on results.
• Collaborate with internal digital teams to address client needs and provide updates.
• Produce, load, and deploy messaging campaigns using relevant platforms.
• Stay up to date on digital engagement trends and best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
