About The Position

CACI is seeking a Digital Signal Processing Engineer to develop next-generation signals intelligence (SIGINT) and electronic warfare systems for the Department of Defense. The role supports intelligence, defense, and other government missions by developing signal-processing algorithms and SIGINT software for a variety of platforms. The team uses Model-Based Systems Engineering and Agile software development practices to deliver capabilities supporting U.S. warfighters. The engineer also contributes to software and machine-learning applications, maintains signal-processing tools, helps define requirements and system architecture, and develops analytic signal-processing tools. Employment requires an active Top Secret clearance to begin; continued employment requires obtaining a TS/SCI clearance. Travel is up to 10% within the continental United States.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline, such as Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
  • At least 7 years of related experience in a relevant engineering discipline, such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
  • Programming experience in Python, X-Midas, M2Extra, and C++.
  • Linux software development experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency communicating technical and analytical information in written products.
  • Exposure to all phases of the software development lifecycle: concept, design, implementation, test, and production.
  • Experience working in highly collaborative team environments centered around signal processing and software development.
  • Top Secret clearance required to begin employment; must obtain TS/SCI clearance to continue employment.
