About The Position

The Digital Services Department is responsible for providing quality member service to the credit union’s staff and members, as well as carrying out the daily operational responsibilities of servicing deposit accounts and member records.

Requirements

Six months to two years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions
A high school degree or GED is required.
Courtesy and tact are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with customers and others inside and outside the organization, generally regarding fairly routine matters for the purposes of giving and obtaining information or instructions, updating or referring. Communications generally require shorter and not in-depth discussions
Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.
Must be capable of climbing/descending stairs in emergency situation.
Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator.
Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary.
Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management.
Must be capable of travel by automobile (as driver and passenger), commercial airlines, rental vehicles and public transportation and be able to lodge in public facilities.
Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
Must be able to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team.
Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions.
Must be able to complete basic mathematical calculations, spell accurately, and understand computer basics.
Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence.
Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public.
Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines/requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace.

Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.

Responsibilities

Proficient in internal systems that support the credit union’s operations, such as Image Center, Alert Center, Chex Systems, Meridian Link, Synergy, Document Tracking, Meridian Link, Chex systems, Bill Pay and others as assigned. Provide end user support to staff and members, and open help desk tickets as needed.
Proficient in all Daily tasks, file maintenance and review. Able to complete daily tasks per the department OneNote. Support frontline staff and internal departments in resolving member issues and requests. Process/balance Remote Deposit Items as scheduled. Complete Asset Verification requests and returned mail in a timely manner. Provide support to other Digital Services team members.
Proficient in daily research and processing of ACH posting, NOC’s, completing exceptions reports, origination requests, RTP research, payroll cards, share draft reconciliation/exceptions.
Participate in research and discussion regarding Wire requests. Successfully process wires within the core in conjunction with Fed and Alloya. Follow procedures and guidelines with approval limits.
Maintain and manage IRA products within Episys Core and Ascensus including maintaining a clean database, daily review of IRA transactions, and processing death claims. Be a resource to all staff for IRA related questions.
