Westland Insurance Group Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Sales Advisor in Calgary, Alberta. This is a hybrid position. We are looking for a career-minded individual who is focused on growing their insurance industry knowledge and experience. Westland also offers a competitive commission for this role. Requirements

  • Laser-focused, you have a track record of achieving sales targets
  • Building authentic client relationships comes naturally to you
  • Master time manager, you can prioritize your workload, plus you demonstrate confidentiality and discretion
  • Ability to explain complex information in a simple manner
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, an active listener
  • Insurance broker level 1 license and willingness to obtain level 2 ASAP is a must (Westland will support in obtaining)
  • 2 years of experience with personal lines insurance

Responsibilities

  • Deliver superior customer service that promotes client retention
  • Uncover clients’ business challenges and act as a client advocate identifying their needs and providing recommendations
  • Assist clients with their insurance needs by utilizing basic knowledge of underwriting principles
  • Contact prospects through phone and email
  • Respond on a timely basis to incoming web leads
  • Achieve and excel monthly sales quotas
  • Accurately record client activities in the company’s database
