Digital Reporting Supervisor
About The Position
Esquire is seeking a Supervisor, Digital Reporting to guide a team of Digital Reporters and ensure service excellence. This role involves supervising the performance of Digital Reporters, managing expectations for their work product and quality, and serving as a coach and trainer on digital reporting best practices, technologies, and education. The supervisor will also be responsible for coordinating onboarding, providing ongoing performance feedback, maintaining vendor profiles, approving time cards and expenses, building relationships with stakeholders, resolving quality concerns, and participating in the performance review process.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication and organizational skills, with a superior client-service mentality and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to planning work and meeting deadlines
- One year of experience working in the legal services industry preferred
- Working knowledge of the MS Office Suite and the ability to learn Esquire’s technology platforms
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Knowledge of adult training principles and methods, with the ability to coach performance and support process improvement under pressure
- Knowledge of court procedures, legal documents, and legal terminology
- Ability to multi-task and shift priorities
- Ability to resolve challenges and support process improvement
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders
- Ability to follow the Company’s standards and best practices for digital reporting and recording to ensure digital reporters’ quality assurance measurements are met

Responsibilities
- Coordinate the successful onboarding of new Digital Reporters, including equipment shipment, setting expectations and ways of working, and completing onboarding plans and 30-60-90-day reviews
- Coach digital reporters and deliver ongoing performance feedback
- Support Digital Reporters through The Court Reporting Academy and Esquire’s Apprenticeship Program
- Deliver training for digital reporters on skills, policies, compliance, products, and services
- Maintain NetSuite vendor profiles, and monitor and approve time cards and expenses for assigned digital reporters
- Build strong relationships between digital reporters and stakeholders, including local field offices and transcription teams, and communicate reporter availability to local field teams
- Resolve quality concerns and conduct regular quality performance evaluations against established performance expectations for record capture
- Participate in the performance review process, including documenting performance issues and partnering with Human Resources on disciplinary action when needed
