About The Position

U.S. Legal Support is hiring Digital Reporters for their legal proceedings team. This is an entry-level position, and no prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided. The role involves administering oaths, participating in depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings, and operating technology for these events. Additionally, responsibilities include preparing documents for transcription and performing administrative tasks.

Requirements

• Tech-savvy: Comfortable with computers, software, and audio equipment.
• Quick typing skills: Minimum typing speed of 55+ words per minute.
• Strong communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to obtain a state Notary Commission (guidance provided).
• AAERT Certification (training provided if not certified).

• Already a Notary.

Responsibilities

• Administer oaths and participate in depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings from your home, office, or remote locations.
• Transport, set up, and operate computer and audio equipment for in-office or remote proceedings.
• Prepare audio files, exhibits, and other documents for transcription.
• Perform administrative duties on a set schedule when not involved in legal proceedings.
