About The Position

BrightKey is looking for an experienced Digital Records Technician in Plymouth Meeting, PA! The Digital Records Technician is responsible for converting corporate materials and documents into organized, searchable digital records. This position plays a key role in preserving company information by scanning, indexing, organizing, and maintaining electronic files within the organization's document management system. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining the accuracy, quality, and confidentiality of company records. Prior experience in digital records, scanning and document management is highly preferred.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
  • One to three years of experience in document scanning, records management, administrative support, or office operations preferred.
  • Experience using high-volume, large format document scanners and imaging equipment preferred.
  • Familiarity with document management systems (DMS), enterprise content management (ECM) software, or electronic filing systems is a plus.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive company information.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in digital records, scanning and document management is highly preferred.
  • 1 -2 years of experience with document scanning and digitization
  • Experience in operating large format scanning, imaging and digitization equipment and machines
  • Strong computer skills, including experience in data entry, experience with SharePoint (or similar) is highly preferred.
  • Quality assurance, checking for accuracy and proper indexing
  • Digital records/filing

Responsibilities

  • Converting existing physical/paper documents and records to digital records by scanning and entering them into the computer system.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews to verify document accuracy, completeness, and proper indexing.
  • Verify image quality and ensure scanned documents are complete, legible, and accurately reproduced.
  • Assist with inventorying and organizing physical records scheduled for digitization.
  • Maintain scanning equipment and coordinate service or maintenance when necessary.
  • Collaborate with department managers to prioritize digitization projects and ensure timely completion.
  • Protect confidential and sensitive information while adhering to company security and privacy standards.
