About The Position

WGL is seeking a Digital Project Manager to lead technology and business transformation initiatives across its Midstream and Corporate functions. Reporting to the Senior Portfolio Manager, this role manages projects from planning through implementation, partnering with business leaders, Digital teams, systems integrators, and external vendors. The position is accountable for delivering projects on time, within budget and scope, and in alignment with business objectives. The Digital Project Manager leads cross-functional teams, manages project financials and governance, and communicates project performance and recommendations to sponsors, steering committees, and senior leadership. Projects must follow AltaGas' Project Delivery Methodology and applicable privacy, cybersecurity, regulatory, and quality requirements. The role also contributes to organizational relationships, continuous improvement, and digital transformation.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
3 to 5+ years of project management experience, preferably within technology, digital transformation, or IT.
Strong understanding of both Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies.
Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple vendors and stakeholders.
Experience developing Statements of Work and managing third-party service providers.
Strong project financial management, planning, risk management, and governance skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present effectively to senior leadership.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Project, and SharePoint.
A collaborative, results-driven approach with the ability to influence teams and drive accountability.

Nice To Haves

Project management certification (PMP) is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead technology and digital transformation projects from planning through implementation and post-project review.
Partner with business and Digital stakeholders to define business requirements, scope, objectives, and success measures.
Develop project plans, schedules, governance structures, budgets, contracting strategies, and Statements of Work.
Lead cross-functional project teams and manage employees, contractors, vendors, and service providers to drive accountability and results.
Manage project budgets and forecasts, including appropriate CapEx and OpEx allocation.
Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, scope changes, and mitigation plans.
Track and communicate project performance, including schedule, budget, milestones, risks, and outcomes.
Provide project updates and recommendations to sponsors, steering committees, and senior leadership.
Ensure projects follow AltaGas' Project Delivery Methodology and applicable privacy, cybersecurity, regulatory, and quality requirements.
Build strong relationships across the organization and contribute to continuous improvement and digital transformation.
