The Digital Product Manager - AI Program is responsible for driving the vision, strategy, business requirements, roadmap, and execution for assigned digital products. This role advocates for the end-user experience through data and research-driven product discovery and development methods. The position ensures alignment between Product, Business, and Platform priorities within the context of Mayo Clinic's overall strategy and goals, while ensuring end-user needs are met. The role oversees the entire product lifecycle, from defining vision and managing teams to hit product OKRs, deriving feature intention maps, and managing capacity against scope to create a best-in-class user/customer experience on time and within budget. The Digital Product Manager clearly defines what is being built and why, owning the problem statements and business rationale before solution development begins. This role is accountable for the success of a cross-functional team including experts in design, IT, analytics, marketing, and others, applying Agile product methodologies, managing sprints, and delivery cadence. The Digital Product Manager leads a high-performing cross-functional team effectively and efficiently, collaborating with business partners, customers, and other stakeholders (Engineering, UX/UI, Operations, Engagement, AI, etc.). They make sound product decisions independently on straightforward solutions within the defined product area and escalate complex problems and cross-product decisions as needed. The role leverages market and customer feedback and data to inform and guide future product/feature development, leads discovery for the assigned product including user research, baseline definition, and opportunity sizing. They manage stakeholder relationships within the assigned product area, facilitating alignment sessions, communicating progress, and surfacing risks early. The Digital Product Manager advocates for end-users, builds and improves features based on their pain points, and strives to make product technology and workflows easy to use. The role proactively manages and monitors product and operational risks (regulatory, security, operational, etc.) to prevent and/or mitigate risks to the customer and business. The ability to establish deep partnerships with business stakeholders is crucial to ensure the product achieves business requirements and aligns with other organizational strategies and priorities. The Digital Product Manager monitors and manages product schedules, scopes, and budgets, delivering as scheduled. They manage external Mayo Clinic vendor and partnership relationships as assigned, set and manage to product performance scorecards and OKRs, and work collaboratively with business partners (Practice, Education, Research, Administration, Platform, International, Provider Relations) and Mayo Clinic Shared Services. The role also works collaboratively with internal Mayo Clinic clients, including consultants, clinical and research professionals, administrators, and external business partners, and represents Mayo Clinic in interactions with vendors and non-Mayo partners in a positive and constructive way.
