We are seeking a full-time Digital Product Management and Innovation Instructor to deliver exceptional workshops for our commercial and apprenticeship programs. This role focuses on workshop delivery between 09:00 - 17:00 GMT, with workshops typically lasting 4.5 or 7 hours, and less frequent 8-hour hackathons. In-person delivery for UK-based clients is required, and occasional work outside core UK hours may be necessary due to our global client base.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in digital product management, with credibility to teach from real-world practice.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and facilitation skills, making complex topics accessible and engaging.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, managing preparation, delivery, and competing priorities.
  • A growth mindset and commitment to continuous improvement in teaching and subject knowledge.
  • Confidence working collaboratively in distributed, remote teams.
  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent relevant industry experience.
  • Over 2 years of experience teaching Product Ownership, Business Analysis, and Product Management in a commercial setting.
  • Ability to manage own time to meet delivery deadlines and stay on top of preparation.
  • Excellent and adaptable communicator, verbally and in writing.
  • Self-motivated problem solver who takes initiative.
  • Passionate about technology and learning.
  • Team player eager to improve programs and contribute to morale.
  • Keen to learn, improve, and stretch own knowledge, skills, and behaviors.
  • Consistently reliable WiFi for remote workshop delivery.
  • Mandatory background clearances for roles involving learner interaction or sensitive data.
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo a DBS check (potentially Enhanced, including barred list check).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in AI, machine learning, prompt engineering, or adjacent digital innovation topics.
  • A recognized teaching, training, or assessment qualification.
  • Relevant agile, product, or AI certifications.
  • Experience delivering apprenticeship or commercial training programs.
  • Knowledge of GenAI adoption in business contexts.
  • Sufficient knowledge to teach the L3 Gen AI Champion Apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Decoded's learning content to groups of apprenticeship learners via virtual and in-person workshops.
  • Hone skills as an educator and build knowledge of andragogy and teaching theory.
  • Collaborate with Learner Success Coaches (LSCs) to ensure apprentice progress.
  • Contribute to product improvement and content development.
  • Prepare workshops and understand curriculum learning objectives.
  • Review exercises and learning materials before workshops.
  • Learn about learners and their businesses.
  • Familiarize with course structure and content, proactively filling knowledge gaps.
  • Maintain a continual learning mindset and advance knowledge in specialist domains.
  • Manage time effectively during workshops.
  • Manage the classroom environment.
  • Create a professional and energetic atmosphere with good learner engagement.
  • Ensure effective in-person classroom environments.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues using platforms like Zoom/Teams, Mural, and Menti.
  • Decode and communicate complex concepts with energy, focus, and patience.
  • Engage and captivate the attention of virtual audiences.
  • Facilitate the learning journey inclusively, supporting all learners.
  • Support content development of SME content across Product Management and Digital Innovation programs.
  • Provide SME input and peer review for new/existing product content.
  • Produce materials for learners with stretch needs and instructions for technical content.
